Weather policy
Our team rides are outdoor activities, and the safety and comfort of participants come first.
Unsuitable weather
A ride may be postponed when the forecast indicates:
- Rainy conditions
- Temperatures above 35°C
- Strong wind
We may also postpone an activity if local conditions are considered unsafe for riding.
Weather decision
Where unsuitable weather is forecast, we aim to make the decision at least 2 days before the scheduled activity and contact the organiser as soon as possible.
Because weather conditions can change unexpectedly, we may also need to make a later decision if conditions become unsafe.
Rescheduling
If a ride cannot proceed because of unsuitable weather, the booking will be moved to another mutually agreed date.
The value of the original booking will be transferred to the new date.
Refunds
Weather-related cancellations are not refundable.
If the activity is postponed because of weather, the booking remains valid and will be rescheduled rather than refunded.
If you choose not to attend
If Footbikes Australia determines that conditions are suitable for the activity to proceed, but the customer chooses to cancel or not attend, our standard Booking & Cancellation Policy applies.
