About us
We ride them. We sell them. Now we share them with teams.
Footbikes Australia has been importing and selling big-wheel scooters in Western Australia for years.
After years of riding around Perth ourselves, organising social rides and introducing new people to footbiking, we started getting a simple question: could we organise the same experience for a workplace team?
That is how our team experiences began.
Real people, real riding experience
The rides are run by Regina and George, the same people behind Footbikes Australia.
We know the footbikes, we know the Perth paths, and most importantly, we know what it is like to put someone on a footbike for the first time. We know that almost everyone can do and enjoy the ride.
Our approach is relaxed and practical: help everyone feel comfortable, keep the group together and make sure the experience stays enjoyable rather than competitive or intimidating.

What is a footbike
It is not a kick scooter
A footbike is a bicycle frame — full-size wheels, proper tyres, real brakes — with a standing platform where the saddle would be. The big wheels are the whole difference: they roll over things, hold speed, and make the ride feel like a bike rather than a toy.
A kick scooter has small wheels and is for short distances on smooth ground. A footbike will comfortably do twenty kilometres along the river, and people race them over much further than that.
The Czechs have been building them for decades and treat it as a real sport. In Australia it is still novel, which is exactly why it works as a group activity — almost nobody has done it, so nobody arrives with an advantage.
Why footbikes
They make it easy for very different people to take part together
Footbiking is an easy outdoor activity that works for almost everyone. It is simple to learn, low impact on the body and comfortable at a relaxed pace, so people with different ages, fitness levels and confidence can enjoy the same experience together.
It gets people away from desks, screens and meeting rooms — outside, moving, talking and sharing something different. Fresh air, gentle physical activity and time together can also make a positive contribution to employee wellbeing.
- No special fitness needed Comfortable for different ages and fitness levels.
- Easy to step on and off The low platform makes stopping and restarting simple.
- Stable and confidence-friendly Large wheels and an upright riding position make the ride feel secure.
- Everyone rides at their own pace The group stays together without pressure or competition.

Rough numbers and a rough date is enough to start.
