Team Ride
A relaxed guided ride that gets your team moving, talking and experiencing Perth together.
6–10 people · Approx. 2 hours

Built around your team
A flexible team experience designed around your group, with the route, timing, challenges and optional refreshments tailored to your needs.
Custom Team Ride gives your group more flexibility to create an experience that fits your team, schedule and preferred style of activity.
We can adapt the route, duration, pace and level of challenge, and include suitable stops for coffee, ice cream, brunch or lunch. The experience can be planned around your workplace, conference venue or another suitable Perth location, depending on access and riding conditions.
Footbiking is easy to learn, low impact on the body and comfortable at a relaxed group pace, making it suitable for mixed ages, fitness levels and riding confidence. The focus stays on enjoying the experience together rather than performance.
Because every Custom Team Ride is planned specifically for your group, we ask for at least one month's notice so we can prepare the route, activities, stops and any third-party arrangements properly.
No special equipment, previous riding experience or particular fitness is needed.

Questions
No. That is the whole point of it. If you can walk, you can footbike — you push with one foot, coast, and swap feet when you get tired. There are no gears, nothing to clip into, and stepping off is always allowed.
Every experience starts with a short introduction and a few easy practice minutes before anyone rides anywhere. We have not yet had someone who could not ride by the end of that.
They will be fine, and they will not be the one holding everyone up. Footbiking is low impact and self-paced: you can push hard or you can roll along, and the effort is spread across both legs rather than concentrated the way cycling is.
There is no saddle, so none of the discomfort that stops people enjoying a bike ride. Groups with a thirty-year age spread ride together comfortably.
We ride at a relaxed group pace with regular stops to regroup, so taking it easy means having company rather than an audience.
Enclosed shoes — runners are ideal, thongs and heels are not — and comfortable clothes you can move in, suitable for the weather. You are standing up the whole time, so nothing needs to be cycling-specific.
A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen for anything between October and April, and a light layer if the weather is cooler. Bring a water bottle that fits a regular bicycle bottle holder.
We meet you at the start point with the footbikes set up and ready to go.
You get a short introduction, a bike sized to you and a fitted helmet. Then a few easy practice minutes until everyone is comfortable, which is usually sooner than they expect.
Then you ride together at a relaxed group pace, with regular stops to regroup, take photos and enjoy the views.
At the end there is time to relax and chat, and — if you have asked for it — a coffee, ice cream, brunch or lunch stop.
